CMC Algebraic Thinking Symposium

There is still time to register for the Algebraic Thinking Symposium. Let’s go to Monterey Bay for the weekend of March 12th and 13th! Begin your weekend with a great K – 12 algebra symposium and end it with a visit along the coast of Monterey Bay. There is no need for a sub because it’s Friday night and all day Saturday.

The cost is $140 for the symposium, $55 for the banquet/keynote, and $177 for the hotel room.

CMC-Central’s Algebraic symposium provides a unique opportunity for Professional development. Friday night will include a banquet and keynote speaker, Paul Giganti. On Saturday you will experience two intimate grade level sessions to engage you into a world of algebraic thinking. You will come away with an in depth understanding that will inspire you for an exciting Monday morning. In between sessions you will be able to visit vendors to find those treasures for your students and your classroom.

Go to http://www.cmc-math.org/activities/central_conference.html to register for the 2010 Algebraic Thinking Symposium. Be sure to make your reservations at the Embassy Suites in Seaside. We have a set of rooms set aside, make sure that you say that you’re with CMC Central to get the group rate.
