Paid Teacher Professional Development Opportunity: July 16-20, 2012

Exciting news! The Understanding Science for Teaching project is pilot testing two new professional development courses.

While courses in this stage are not fully developed, teachers who participate in a pilot course will experience content-rich science investigations and in depth literacy investigations, as well as have the opportunity to help refine and shape the way these investigations play out. After attending the course, teachers will have the opportunity to contribute a written teaching case of their own classroom that will be included in the published course.

We provide:

*stipends of $150 per day for all participants

*case-writers earn up to an additional $900 for contributing a teaching case to the course

*breakfast and lunch daily
