New Job Opportunity: Program Manager Mathematics and Science Assessment
Job Overview
With leading research entities as strategic collaborators, Agile Mind develops high-quality online mathematics and science assessment and course services that enable middle and high school teachers and students – particularly those in underserved communities – to dramatically improve academic achievement. This position is responsible for the ongoing development of our formative assessment services in mathematics and science. The ideal candidate will have current knowledge of STEM assessment issues, mathematics and science assessment experience, and knowledge of formative assessment products and publications. Telecommuting is an option.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the enhancement and spread of our formative assessment services, working with our research collaborators.
Advocate best practices in assessment in all Agile Mind services and across the organization.
Support Sales and Professional Services staff in promoting our formative assessment service and tools and assuring their beneficial use by teachers and students.
Background Desired
- Strong knowledge of the middle and high school mathematics and science assessment field
- 3-5 years of substantive editing or curriculum development of middle- or secondary-school math instructional and assessment materials, preferably in an online environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Exceptional editorial skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of document layout and production practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
