CSME designs curriculum for this program which supports under-served student populations on a career pathway to STEM K-12 teaching via mentorship and financial support through community college.  CSME has designed the STEM SUMMER INSTITUTE, in which future teachers experience model engaging STEM pedagogy and work with local out-of-school-time providers to enrich the curriculum with more science and to connect the work to new math and science standards.  Partners include 10 CSUs and 13 two-year colleges, and it is funded by private foundations.
