The Environment Group advances inquiry and observation within the wider fields of environmental science, art, and education. The Environment Program Manager works closely with various museum staff to manage all activity necessary for the successful implementation of the projects of the Environment Group. Program Manager responsibilities include the administrative management of budgets; oversight and coordination of workshops and conferences; evaluation and database management; recruitment and dissemination management; and budget management. The Program Manager will report to the Environment Group Senior Artist, and will need to be responsive to, and coordinate the efforts and needs of, several different program leaders and partners.

The Programs Coordinator for the Public Programs department implements evening programming targeted at adult audiences, weekend family-focused public programs, and special programs targeted at specific audiences or special interest groups. Programs that coordinators regularly execute encompass a range of formats, including but not limited to: lectures, demonstrations, installations, hands on workshops receptions, performances, and more. In addition to this regular work, this position will be helping to produce an expanded portfolio of regular evening programs targeted at specific audiences of adults weekly on Thursday evenings.
